Who is Elena??
I'm Elena. I've always been a very creative person, so stepping into the world of art and design felt like a natural path for me. I have a wide range of interests and hobbies that I try to squeeze into a 16-hour day—and I'm currently working on overthinking a bit less
What are you doing here and tell us who you really are?
I'm joining Hyperfocus as a Senior Designer, and I'm really excited about how naturally we connected. My background in digital products and branding aligns well with the studio’s foundation, and I felt a strong resonance with its ethos from the start.

How did you come to work with Hyperfocus?
I was looking to relocate to a larger, more international city and to find a design studio that matched my values—both culturally and aesthetically. When I came across Hyperfocus’ job posting, my immediate reaction was: “We have to work together.”
What’s your style?
Minimalism, where white space, typography, and layout take center stage—supported by a thoughtful rhythm of grids and structure. I love striking a balance between order and fluidity.
Working on anything big in the background?
Most of my energy over the past few months has gone into relocating to Hamburg, but I’ve also been thinking about getting back into painting and starting to experiment with textile sculptures. Hopefully, I’ll be able to dive into that soon.

Do you have any design heroes?
I draw inspiration from people in various disciplines. A few names that come to mind: Jenny Holzer, Joyce Shi, Eileen Myles, Mauro Merz, Alvar Aalto, Bruce Nauman, and Dieter Rams.
Inspire in one word?
Authenticity.
